Sarah Parish is Emeritus Professor of Medical Statistics and Epidemiology at the Nuffield Department of Population Health, University of Oxford. She has played a major role as a statistician in large-scale randomised trials on the treatment and prevention of cardiovascular disease and in developing large-scale blood-based observational studies with biomarker panels and genotyping. Her research focuses on genetic risk factors, causality in relation to adiposity and dementia, and lipoproteins.
