Ismaı̈l El-Hamamsy

Ismaı̈l El-Hamamsy works in Cardiac Surgery affiliated with Montreal Heart Institute.

Ismail El-Hamamsy is the Randall B. Griepp Professor of Cardiovascular Surgery at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and System Director of Aortic Surgery for the Mount Sinai Health System since 2020. He previously worked as a cardiac surgeon at the Montreal Heart Institute from 2010 to 2020, where he also served as Director of Aortic Surgery from 2018 to 2020. His research includes over 200 publications on topics such as aortic valve disease and the Ross procedure.
