It is necessary to recognize user behavior in order to disseminate sustainable housing and achieve tangible change in the construction sector through environmental awareness. This research aims to investigate the relationships between the intention to purchase sustainable housing and user behavior characteristics, based on 36 variables. A questionnaire was applied online based on the Survey method (data collection). Descriptive and multivariate correlation analyses were developed, which indicated the most latent correspondences between the variables of the Environmental Behavior (AC), Knowledge and Information (CI), Perceived Value (VP), Environmental Preservation Attitudes (PA) and Intention (I) Groups. The results showed a sample with 255 respondents predominantly in the South region, where purchase intention is influenced by issues of environmental preservation, perceived value, and socioeconomic development, in addition to indicating the importance of disseminating knowledge and information about the adoption of sustainable housing.
