Background: Rural and Indigenous communities have long dealt with subpar healthcare along with a lack of proper resources and a plethora of chronic ailments. In addition to these inequities, funding for these communities is well below the standard for which one needs to achieve excellent health status. Aim: To explore the health disparities that these communities face in regards to healthcare and evaluate how pharmacists can alleviate these issues. To also create a strategic plan that can be implemented in all pharmacy settings and which can be sustained. Conclusion: The strategic planning outlined provides a scaleable foundation for different pharmacy practices to adopt and make their own in their field of practice, ultimately leading to better care and health outcomes for rural and indigenous communities.
