Relating the sense of self-efficacy of primary school principals and implementing crisis management strategies

Teachers in their school units may face a variety of crises that can create great disruption and turbulence in their proper functioning. With a higher sense of self-efficacy, school principals can successfully meet their leadership roles. The purpose of this study is to explore the perceptions of primary school principals regarding the contribution of self-efficacy to crisis management at school. In the present survey participated 135 principals of primary schools of the region of Thessaly, the majority of whom were men (68.89%). The findings of the research show that the managers are quite familiar with the crisis management strategies, while they stated that they have a very strong sense of self-efficacy regarding the crisis management strategy.
