The relationship between the idea and form of a dramatic text and the realization on the stage is interconnected and interdependent, each aspect contributing to the creation of a complex and profound theatrical experience. In the article, we will analyze some monodramas made on the stages of the Republic of Moldova. In monodrama, the idea and form play a crucial role in the actor's expression and presentation of a single story or experience. Monodrama can explore a wide range of topics and emotions, from a character's inner struggle with his own "demons" to exploring a relevant social or political theme. The form in monodrama is often simple and minimal, with a single character narrating or exploring his thoughts, feelings, and actions to the audience. The idea and form in monodrama are closely related because the chosen form must support and enhance the central idea. The article will analyze the following performances from the local scene: "Astro-remisie" by A. Roșca-Ichim, directed by D. Acriș from ART ("Angelina Roșca Theater"); "Maria Tănase. I Would Die, Death Doesn't Come to Me" by N. Cozaru from TNME (National Theater "Mihai Eminecsu"; "ADI" by C. Cheianu, directed by D. Gherghel from TEI (National Theater "Eugene Ionesco").
