Subject. This article discusses the issues of information and communication interaction of government bodies, and the problem of ensuring the consistency of activities within the framework of regional economic policy. Objectives. The article aims to evaluate the effectiveness of various tools and methods for implementing regional economic policy. Methods. For the study, I used a comparative analysis. Results. The article finds that the use of up-to-date electronic digital information platforms contributes to enhancing the cooperation between government bodies and production entities, and the development of innovation implies rational use of resource potential and optimal satisfaction of consumer demands. Relevance. The results obtained can be taken into account when designing programmes for the innovative development of regional economic systems.
