Part VII consists of a directory of persons teaching or trained in philosophy in Canada listed in alphabetical order. Most of the names listed appear already in Part VI in the staffs of Canadian universities and colleges. Persons not listed in Part VI, who nevertheless are, or have been, teaching philosophy or who have been trained in philosophy through the M.A. degree, are indicated by an asterisk. Information about these has come mainly from membership lists of philosophical societies. The directory is incomplete, not only because no response was received from many colleges but especially because the editor has not yet found a way to obtain such information. Some improvement in this matter may be expected in the next edition, just as improvement occurred in the second edition relative to philosophers in the United States.
