Motivation: Due to the long acquisition times and the susceptibility of results to noise, multidimensional diffusion-relaxation correlation MRI (MD-MRI) necessitates stable and efficient acceleration method. Goal(s): This study investigates the efficacy of MD-MRI using different acceleration techniques. Approach: We employed SMS and GRAPPA parallel imaging methods, comparing their performance across various acceleration factors. Results: Results indicate that SMS significantly improves diffusion metrics contrast, while GRAPPA excels in mean R1 contrast due to its longer TR settings. Impact: This study investigates the influence of SMS and GRAPPA acceleration techniques in MD-MRI, providing a reference to find a balance between acquisition time and inversion result quality.
