The relevance of the topic lies in the fact that the protection of minors is an important and priority ar-ea of activity of the system of state bodies, including the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, both on the scale of the Russian Federation and in its individual regions. The analysis of statistical data allows us to state the positive results of the organization and implementation of purposeful and comprehensive work of juvenile affairs units, namely, assistance to minors, updating the forms and methods of such activities.
