this research was conducted based on the background of the problems faced by teachers in delivering material using learning media. There are still many teachers eho rarely use learning media when delivering material or in the learning process. Learning media is very important for students because students feel learning is more fun and not boring. The aim of this research is to analyze the effect of using mind mapping media in natural Science learning using pre-test and post-test. Data collection technigues use questionnaires and observations. Data analysis uses 15 questions. This research obtained results that from all indicators that had been exceeded, it was identified that there was a significant increase in influence of 0,002 related to before and after using mind mapping learning media. The application of mind mapping media carried out by the class 5 homeroom teacher MI MA'ARIF KEDUNGBOTO was able to improve students' critical thingking.
