The article substantiates the relevance of digital transformation as the basis for innovative development of the construction sector, and also examines various approaches to the essence of this process in the digital economy. The work analyzes the main digital technologies that contribute to the digital transformation of construction, and the benefits of their use, and concludes that the use of BIM technologies is a key area of innovative development of the construction industry due to the possibility of building a unified digital platform in construction.
