The article explores the role of religion as powerful factor of worldview management that form the basis of human consciousness and behaviour. The idea of God-humanity and its influence on the concept of human freedom and duties to God are examined. Contemporary challenges facing religious organisations are also discussed, including their relevance to young people and internal aspects such as leadership and finances. Particular attention is paid to the concentration of power in the hands of autocratic leaders and its impact on human rights, including the right to religious freedom. The article emphasises the need to critically analise the complex dynamics of the relationship between religion and the state and to find a balance between religious attitudes and the promotion of human rights.
