The Living Environment of the Nobility and upper Middle-class in Pest-Buda during the Second Half of the 19th Century

The 19th century was a very important century in the history of Hungary. A series of significant historical events that happened in the latter half of the 19th century, all had a profound impact on the Hungarian nation, especially on the daily lives of people living in Pest-Buda. In this paper,, I have chosen to focus on the nobility and upper middle-class living in Budapest (Pest-Buda before 1873), hoping to analyze their daily lives through an examination of their living environment in the second half of the 19th century.
