The article is devoted to development of management science. The article examines the main factors that determine the need for the development of management science in Russia at the present stage, notes the characteristics of the identified factors, and indicates which theories, concepts, and approaches require further development in connection with these factors. The changes occurring in the management of the organization are shown in connection with changes in the socio-economic conditions of the functioning of organizations. The barriers that the organization's management must overcome in order to make and implement management decisions in order for the business to be successful are identified.
