The article examines the legal positions of the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation in the field of federal relations, since the judicial constitutional doctrine is of great importance in creating today’s model of federalism in Russia, which at each specific historical stage of the development of federal relations, adapting to legal, socio-economic and life realities, undoubtedly contributed to overcoming legal problems arising in the relations of the center and regions.The principles formulated by the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation in the field of federal relations in Russia are also highlighted.
