The border areas of the far east of Russia and northeast China have a geographical advantage and a good economic basis for regional cooperation. Strengthening regional cooperation between the two regions not only meets the needs of economic development of the two regions, but also has far-reaching strategic significance. Based on the actual situation of Russia and China, this article comprehensively analyzes the border areas of the far east of Russia and northeast China in the fields of infrastructure, economic trade and investment, and energy cooperation against the background of the development strategy of the Russian Far East and the revitalization strategy of the Northeast, and discusses the socio-economic development of the region and cooperation measures and recommendations, so as to promote the economic cooperation between the border areas of the far east of Russia and northeast China.
