The purpose of this study is to analyze and investigate how the psychological skills of university taekwondo competitors affect emotional intelligence and perceived performance. In order to achieve the purpose of this study, 313 university taekwondo competitors in Seoul, Gyeonggi-do, and Chungcheongnam-do were selected using a convenience sampling method. Data processing was analyzed using frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis using the SPSS Version 26.0 program. As a result, first, there was a significant correlation between the psychological skills, emotional intelligence, and perceived performance of university taekwondo competitors. Second, it was found that the psychological skills of university taekwondo competitors had a significant effect on emotional intelligence. Third, it was found that the psychological skills of university taekwondo competitors had a significant effect on perceived performance. Fourth, it was found that the emotional intelligence of university taekwondo competitors had a significant effect on perceived performance. Putting these results together, it was found that the psychological skills of university taekwondo competitors had a significant effect on emotional intelligence and perceived performance.
