The article explores key aspects of using the project method in the education of students specializing in 015 Professional Education (Digital Technologies). The focus of the article is on analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of using this method in the context of the disciplines "Mobile Application Development" and "Databases." The importance of studying high-tech disciplines in the modern technological world is discussed, and the relevance of the selected disciplines for students of this specialty is determined. Mastery of these subjects requires not only theoretical knowledge but also their practical application in real projects. An analysis of research in the fields of psychology and pedagogy is conducted, confirming that the issue of using project technologies in education is not new, and outlining the fundamental principles of this approach. However, there are still unresolved questions regarding the specifics of applying the project method in disciplines related to digital technologies. The article describes the stages of project implementation, including topic selection, task formulation, development of technical specifications, planning, implementation, testing, report preparation, and project presentation. Specific examples of projects that can be implemented in the educational process for the active application of acquired knowledge in practice are provided. The combination of disciplines with modern robotics is also highlighted, and examples of projects that integrate mobile application development, databases, and robotics are presented. In the context of the analysis conducted, the importance of interactivity and teamwork in the project execution process is emphasized. It is noted that this method promotes effective interaction among students, develops communicative skills, and contributes to the formation of objective evaluation criteria. The naturalness of assessment is also underscored, allowing the evaluation of not only theoretical knowledge but also students' practical skills. Attention is drawn to the peculiarities of implementing the project method, specifically issues related to time constraints, uneven distribution of tasks, and potential difficulties for students. Despite these limitations, it is emphasized that the project method in the educational process is an effective tool for integrating theory and practice, developing key skills, and preparing highly qualified professionals ready for the challenges of the digital world. The implementation of the project method in the educational process is a crucial stage in the professional training of students, enabling them to not only consolidate theoretical knowledge but also develop practical skills for a successful career in the field of digital technologies.
