The relevance of studying the issue of national-patriotic education is determined by the current military situation in our country, transformations in social, political, and economic life, and the reassessment of values in people's consciousness. Educating the younger generation infeelings of patriotism, dedication to strengthening statehood, and active civic position are recognized as problems of national importance today. The purpose of this article is to present the results of research on national-patriotic education of older preschool children. The article highlights the potential of implementing folk pedagogical methods in the educational process of preschool institutions and determines their impact on the patriotic education of older preschool children. The analysis of the results of experimental research indicates an increase in the level of national-patriotic education of older preschool children.
