Research on the Process and Balance of PCBA Production Line of Company H Based on Time Measurement

In order to undertake relevant production tasks, Company H has built a new PCBA production line. Meanwhile, they initially introduced the MSE system for monitoring and analysis. The requirements of its production certification standards lead to the fact that its production line characteristics are different from those of traditional electronic assembly production. This study starts from the time measurement which is based on data from MSE system, and uses Minitab to analyze data and draw charts through the process stability and production line balance of the production process. Then it uses causal analysis to preliminarily summarize the problems and possible sources of the production line. It is found that from the control charts, the process stability of the production line is quite low, and the changes in producing are more frequent and have a great impact in producing. At the same time, the production line balance rate is less than 80%, which fails to meet the requirements of lean production. This discovery is used as a starting point for further optimization and improvement. And the research process is used as a reference to provide ideas and methods for subsequent further research.
