Abstract

Effect of Ag layer position in ZnO/Ag/ZnO and Ag/ZnO/Ag films was examined. Moving Ag to surface layers reduced band gap, raised Urbach energy, improved conductivity, and enabled tunable optical properties for optoelectronic and sensing uses.
