Cyclic phosphorodiamidic acid is easy to be synthesized and used as Brønsted acid to catalyze hydrogenation of quinolines. The reaction conditions are mild and substrates scope is wide with high yield. Several applications of this method have been realized, especially enantioselective synthesis with moderate result.
