The U.S. Agricultural Economy at the Beginning of the Third Decade of the 21st Century

Agriculture forms the basis of the U.S. agro-food complex, which occupies a leading position in the current agricultural world. As a result of long-term development, the farming sector of the American economy has evolved into a highly efficient industry, which is reflected in the main financial and economic indicators of its functioning. This article analyzes a number of reports generated by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, characterizing various aspects of the countrys agriculture at the beginning of the third decade of the 21st century.
