Proper inspection of building electrical equipment is essential because a malfunction of the equipment can cause a serious accident. Hot-Line diagnostic technology is used to check the deterioration of equipment without shutting down electrical facilities. Hot-Line diagnostic method using an Infrared Thermography is a simple method and allows for easy maintenance and inspection work. In order to propose a method to perform degradation diagnosis of Oil- immersed transformers using an Infrared Thermography, this study investigated the temperature characteristics of transformers and examined the relationship between load factor and environ temperature, which affect surface temperature.
