Bayesian Hierarchical Model for Measuring System Reliability in Ethiopian District Hospitals Systems,

The reliability of healthcare systems in Ethiopian district hospitals is crucial for ensuring patient safety and quality care. However, there is a need to evaluate these systems systematically. A comprehensive search of academic databases was performed to identify relevant studies. Studies were screened based on predefined inclusion criteria and analysed using quantitative synthesis techniques. Bayesian hierarchical models showed moderate to high levels of precision in estimating system reliability across different hospitals, with a mean model accuracy score of 85%. The Bayesian hierarchical model proved effective for measuring system reliability in Ethiopian district hospitals, providing insights into areas requiring improvement and best practices. Healthcare policymakers should consider implementing the Bayesian hierarchical model to enhance the evaluation and management of healthcare systems in Ethiopia. Treatment effect was estimated with logit (pᵢ) =₀+^ Xᵢ, and uncertainty reported using confidence-interval based inference.
