The study aims to evaluate yield improvement in district hospitals systems within Nigeria by forecasting yield over time. A time-series analysis will be conducted using the Box-Jenkins method to forecast yield improvement. Robust standard errors will be applied to account for uncertainty. Forecasting models revealed a consistent annual increase of 5% in hospital operational effectiveness over four years, with an estimated confidence interval of ±2% The time-series forecasting model provided reliable estimates of yield improvement, demonstrating its utility for monitoring and optimising district hospitals systems in Nigeria. District health authorities should implement the forecasted strategies to enhance hospital performance and patient care. district hospitals, yield improvement, time-series forecasting, operational effectiveness Treatment effect was estimated with logit (pᵢ) =₀+^ Xᵢ, and uncertainty reported using confidence-interval based inference.
