Walking Library - Surprise Box & Upcycle Corner is an innovation to boost the pupil's interest to read books or information in a fun way through games in a surprise box (game & promote new books) and upcycle corner (Mini Zoo, CD of Words, Shout Out Corner). The objective for the Walking Library is conjunction with the school’s Green School Project, the library has actively been involved to promote the use of recyclable materials to create a reading atmosphere. It is also to improve the pupil's vocabulary through reading with the concept of 'LIBRARY EVERYWHERE' & upcycle corner and create a fun in reading program which will encourage pupils to read more. This project has been carried out throughout the year with the collaboration from the English Panel. They are encouraged and become motivated to go to the library to get more information. These are the advantages of Walking Library: it needs less cost, eco-friendly, read and learn in a fun way, and utilize the school compound to create self-driven atmosphere to read.
