This review aims to critically discuss the existing research on the comparison between males' translations and females' translations of Gone with the Wind from the perspective of feminist translation theory, focusing on the following differences: appearance description, action description, dialogue description and psychological description. This review begins with an overview of feminist translation theory and is followed by a summary and evaluation of the main differences in how feminist characteristics are reflected in the translations of different gender translators. This review concludes with a summary of the current status of research, along with the research gap and future research directions.
