Despite the revolutionary role of Trikafta in the management of cystic fibrosis in children, hypersensitivity has been recognised. Herein, we present a case of hypersensitivity reaction to elexacaftor/tezacaftor/ivacaftor (Trikafta) in an early adolescent male with cystic fibrosis. The patient developed a diffuse maculopapular rash and shortness of breath 8 days after initiating therapy, necessitating treatment cessation. 10 days later caused the maculopapular rash to recur after two doses, thus confirming hypersensitivity.
