Background:The role of minimally invasive surgery (MIS) in primary retroperitoneal sarcomas is debated due to concerns regarding tumor rupture and margin status.However, advances in laparoscopy, robotics, and retroperitoneoscopy may offer alternatives to open surgery in selected cases.
