Abstract
Hereditary Breast and Ovarian Cancer syndrome (HBOC) is caused by germline pathogenetic/likely pathogenetic (P/LP) variants in BRCA1 and BRCA2 genes. Women with HBOC syndrome have an increased lifetime risk of developing breast and ovarian cancer. Rehabilitation aims to help cancer patients preserve their physical and psychological functioning in a way that involves breast cancer women and their family members. The aim of this manuscript is to identify specific rehabilitation pathways for breast cancer women carrying BRCA1/BRCA2 variants.
