Abstract Taekwondo is a martial art that emphasizes dynamic kicking techniques, where speed and strength are critical determinants of performance. This paper explores the relationship between kick velocity, muscular strength, and training methodologies. Findings from recent biomechanical and sports science studies suggest that faster kicks generally produce greater impact forces, but optimal performance requires a balance of speed, strength, and technical precision.
