Urban primary care networks (UPCNs) are crucial for improving healthcare accessibility in Kenya's urban areas. A systematic literature review was conducted to identify, synthesize, and assess methodologies used in designing and implementing UPCNs. The evaluation included an assessment of study design, data collection methods, and statistical models employed. The analysis revealed a significant variation (p < 0. 05) in the effectiveness of different clinical interventions within UPCNs, with some networks showing higher patient satisfaction rates (35% vs. 20%). While methodological consistency is lacking across various studies, this review highlights specific areas where improved methodologies could enhance clinical outcomes. Standardised protocols for data collection and analysis should be developed to ensure comparability of results across different UPCNs in Kenya. Treatment effect was estimated with logit (pᵢ) =₀+^ Xᵢ, and uncertainty reported using confidence-interval based inference.
