Business research in Nigeria often highlights policy paradoxes, where theoretical propositions do not align with practical outcomes, leading to a gap between academic insights and public policy development. A survey research approach was employed to gather data from stakeholders including policymakers, academics, and practitioners. Respondents were selected based on relevance to the field of business in Nigeria. The analysis revealed a significant proportion (45%) of policy paradoxes related to regulatory compliance issues, underscoring the need for more effective implementation strategies by government bodies. Public policies must be designed with greater consideration of practical realities and stakeholder perspectives to avoid theoretical inconsistencies in business research findings. Stakeholders should collaborate on developing a comprehensive framework that integrates empirical data into policy formulation processes, enhancing the relevance and effectiveness of public interventions.
