Abstract

This report documents the independent recovery and characterization of a transient dimming event in the TESS QLP lightcurve of TIC 73149665. Using a hybrid pipeline consisting of a 1D-Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) for initial detection and Markov Chain Monte Carlo (MCMC) parametric modeling via the EXOTIC engine, we identified a non-periodic transit at BTJD 2376.11. Statistical analysis yielded a reduced chi-squared of 1.3026, rejecting a symmetric planetary model. The residuals exhibit an asymmetric egress consistent with an evaporating cometary dust tail.
