ABSTRACT The quest for synthetic tools to achieve molecular complexity is of paramount importance. In recent years, strategies have been developed for the late‐stage functionalization of molecules. Anomeric amides have emerged as valuable reagents in this active research area due to their broad range of synthetic applications, and they continue to draw growing interest from the scientific community. This minireview aims to discuss and highlight recent progress in using anomeric amides across a variety of synthetic transformations.
