Abstract
본 연구는 익산 민간단체 익산교통정보나눔단이 발행한 익산교통정보나눔단이용권(이하 익교단이용권)의 운영 구조와 설계 특징을 분석하여 민간 주도 지역화폐의 지속가능성과 성장모델 설계조건을 도출하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 지역사랑상품권과 민간 주도 지역화폐의 설계 요인을 선행연구·문헌연구 및 익교단이용권 네이버 밴드 자료를 통해 비교·분석하였다. 또한 연구자의 익교단 운영자 참여경험과 익교단 운영진과 결과 공유, 동료연구자와의 결과 검토 및 협의 등 삼각검증을 통해 타당성과 신뢰성을 보완하였다. 분석 결과 익교단이용권은 경제적 지속가능성을 주목적으로 하는 설계 구조로 지역사랑상품권과 유사하며, 칼 폴라니의 경제통합 원리가 복합적으로 작동하며 확장을 시도한 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 코로나19 팬데믹 이후 재정 악화, 회원 감소 운영 인력 부족 등으로 관계·제도·기능적 신뢰가 약화되었다. 이에 본 연구는 지속가능성 목표와 경제통합 원리를 교차한 3×3 성장모델을 제시하며, 민간 주도 지역화폐의 지속가능한 성장을 위해 발행 목적에 기반한 복합적 성장 설계가 필요함을 시사한다.
