Objectives: To review peri-implant soft tissue parameters influencing implant stability, esthetics, and long-term clinical success. Methods: Clinical studies, cohort analyses, and systematic reviews evaluating keratinized mucosa width, mucosal thickness, biological width adaptation, and maintenance protocols were analyzed. Interventional strategies including soft tissue grafting and prosthetic design modifications were reviewed. Results: Adequate keratinized mucosa and soft tissue thickness were associated with reduced inflammation, improved plaque control, and enhanced implant stability. Platform switching and surface-modified abutments demonstrated improved soft tissue attachment and crestal bone preservation. Conclusions: Peri-implant soft tissue health is critical for functional and esthetic success of dental implants. Optimized surgical techniques and patient-centered maintenance protocols significantly improve long-term outcomes.
