These findings demonstrated stable triazole resistance in A. fumigatus associated with agricultural copper hydroxide exposure. Copper-based fungicide should be applied strictly at dosage recommended by good agricultural practices and alternated with fungicides of different modes-of-action to mitigate resistance risk. © 2026 Society of Chemical Industry.
