Lomonosov, A.Ya. Kupfer, B.S. Jacobi, G.I. Wild, D.I. Mendeleev, D.P. Konovalov, M.A. Shatelen, A.P. Alexandrov, and other scientists in the creation and development of the international system of measurements and in the development of the fundamental principles of ensuring the uniformity of measurements is shown. Thanks to their research, Russian metrology has achieved leading global positions in measurement capabilities today. It is successfully advancing vital scientific and practical fields that underpin technological sovereignty, economic advancement, and the nations robust defense.
