Mycobacterium tuberculosis bacteraemia is a severe manifestation of tuberculosis in people living with human immunodeficiency virus acquired immune deficiency syndrome, associated with high mortality. We found patients with fatal outcomes had significantly lower lymphocyte, platelet, and CD4+ T-lymphocyte counts, and higher urea levels (p 3 was independently associated with mortality (p = 0.005). The oral rifampicin, isoniazid, pyrazinamide, and ethambutol regime was more frequent among survivors. Social vulnerability factors were common but not independently associated with mortality.
