Abstract

ALADEEB is an AI-powered poetry and story generator for Arabic using Transformer models (BERT/GPT), developed by Oday Alnaddaf under instructor Tarek Barhoum. It addresses the lack of Arabic literary AI tools by generating authentic poetry and stories in classical/modern styles. Key features include genre-based story generation, story continuation, export (PDF/DOCX/TXT), and <3 sec response time. The system uses Python, BERT/GPT variants, Firebase, MongoDB, and MySQL. It fills a market gap compared to ChatGPT/Sudowrite by specializing fully in Arabic literature. Future work includes voice storytelling, dialect support, and mobile apps.
