Aging is a natural process; all born will age.Aging is a multilayered biological process that increases vulnerability to disease and functional decline.Modern geroscience frames aging as an ensemble of interacting molecular and cellular processes -the "hallmarks" that drive tissue dysfunction and age-related disease. This article synthesizes current evidence into 10 practical "commandments" for decoding aging and applying antiaging strategies aimed at extending healthspan (years lived in good health). For each commandment, we summarize the biological rationale, translational/clinical evidence, and realistic interventions for clinicians and researchers.References highlight foundational reviews, recent translational advances, and selected clinical studies.
