This article highlights the unique needs of people with young-onset dementia (YOD) when accessing therapeutic group interventions. The experiences of adapting Cognitive Stimulation Therapy (CST) and Living Well with Dementia (LivDem) courses for those with YOD within a community Dementia Assessment and Support Service are discussed with reference to feedback and reflections from attendees and staff facilitators and consideration for possible future improvements.
