ABSTRACT Strategic performance is paramount in the competitive world of education. Research in this study examines the intricate interaction between strategic human resource management (SHRM), knowledge management (KM), and organizational innovation. As a result of rigorous analysis, we shed light on the pathways each of them paves towards strategic performance in educational settings. As a result of past studies' findings, both SHRM and KM enhance performance. While SHRM cultivates a talent‐driven, adaptable workforce, fostering strategic alignment and agility, KM empowers informed decisions and fuels innovation to propel institutions forward. However, these premises can be affected by other relevant factors. As a mediator, organizational innovation amplifies the effects of HRM and KM. A SHRM practice fosters experimentation, while KM facilitates the translation of ideas into reality, further propelling performance. As a result of this research, a paradigm has emerged: strategic performance results from the harmonious interaction of these elements. It is essential for educational institutions to move beyond traditional approaches and embrace a holistic approach, integrating SHRM, KM, and innovation to create a synergistic ecosystem. It is only through nurturing this trifecta that they will not only excel but define the very essence of quality education.
