The growing integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into daily life has opened new possibilities for promoting sustainable behavior among individuals, particularly young adults. This study examines the role of AI-based applications in encouraging sustainable lifestyle choices among college students. Using a structured questionnaire, primary data were collected from 105 college students across commerce, management, and related disciplines. Descriptive statistical tools such as percentage analysis and frequency distribution were employed to analyze awareness levels, usage patterns, attitudes, behavioral influence, and challenges associated with AI-based sustainability applications. The findings reveal moderate to high awareness of AI-based applications, positive attitudes toward AI as a sustainability tool, and a noticeable influence on eco-friendly behaviors. However, limited awareness of sustainability-focused features, data privacy concerns, and lack of institutional promotion remain significant barriers. The study concludes that AI-based applications possess strong potential to promote sustainable living among students if supported by educational institutions and improved app design.
