Abstract The interview explores how interactive digital formats might contribute to Holocaust memory while avoiding choices or mechanics that would rewrite or trivialize historical suffering. It considers why reactions to Holocaust related games are changing, even as the medium remains shaped by taboo, media framing, and commercial pressures. It argues for clear ethical and historical guardrails and for careful evaluation of educational impact, given the responsibility toward victims and the decline of eyewitness testimony.
