Information Communication and Technology (ICT) usage in most of the teaching learning process marks the basis of Industrial revolution or Industry 4.0. It is marked by the integration and fusion of technologies which includes physical, digital, and biological worlds. The usage of ICT to show online videos, simulations, to conduct quizzes and activities, and hands on learning has made it quite important to facilitate the process of teaching and learning. Specifically, when we talk about biology teaching there are several topics which cannot be explained imaginarily. They need to be performed, shown, experimented etc. Here comes the usage of ICT which not only generates the curiosity among students but also give answers to those curious minds through 3D visuals, visit to virtual worlds, simulations or hands on experiences and usage of several software applications. The presnt paper explores the status of usage of ICT among Biology teachers in GHSEB schools of Vadodara. It tries to highlight the practices and competence of biology teachers in using ICT and the challenges they face in day-to-day teaching.
