This editorial completes a summarization of the most recent seminar of the Early Childhood Music Education (ECME) Commission of the International Society for Music Education (ISME), held in Helsinki, Finland in July 2024. The seminar explored the theme ‘Enhancing a Sustainable Future with Music in Early Childhood’, and this Special Issue is the second of two parts to report on some of the research and practice presented during the seminar. It reflects on the possibilities for working relationships within our community in order to further the sustainability of the field of ECME.
